It's been a difficult time since we lost our amazing Cullen on May 22, 2015. A random cycle of hurt, heal, rage, reflect, rinse and repeat. We immediately committed to everything we could think of to honor the memory of Cullen. We wanted desperately to continue a beautiful conversation so abruptly ended. This, of course wasn’t sustainable. We couldn't possibly do everything we wanted to in memory of our son, or at least do those things well. It's been an arduous journey. Along the way we found some amazing people, some acting in honor of their loved ones and doing beautiful things. We take inspiration from other organizations like Tiffany's Gift, and The keli May Foundation for honoring and memorializing their children in similar ways.
The Cullen Connolly Memorial Fund (a.k.a., Cullen's Claddagh) is established by the Connolly family with a mission to nurture hope and to be greater than what we've suffered. Our goal is to honor Cullen by helping other established organizations and individuals through the following:
- Academic Scholarships.
- Claddagh Recognition Awards.
- Pay It Forward.
- Cullen's Claddagh Merchandise.
- Music Festivals.
- Silent Auctions.
